- "Just Do It" (1 unit) - GP15-1 1621 (one-day for the 1995 Boston Marathon)
- 1 GP38 #7898 painted with bright yellow pilots and stepwells for service @ Exxon Bayway NJ refinery
- 9 C32-8s 6610-18 painted in gray "Ballast Express" scheme
- 2 C36-7 6620,21 lettered for ballast express in blue scheme
- All D8-40B 5060-5089 had "Labor-Management Project" nose treatment sign
- Operation Life Saver units of different classes including:

Some of the above soldier on in their special paint, but most were fairly short-lived.
